Dr. Podesta's office....every room is sports themed, we were thrilled to get the Dodger room. It was very cool! Our second visit was in the hockey room. While there you will typically see semi pro and pro players coming in to give Podesta signed jerserys and gifts saying thank you for fixing me up! He is the best! That's Mark's kind of doctor office!

Jr.
In October Mark Jr. helped a friend move a couch, it was a very heavy couch that reclined. They were taking it into the uhaul truck when the other person dropped their end and Mark held on to his. His back made a bad noise and he was in instant pain. He appeared to be Ok so it wasn't till a month or so later that we took him to the doctor because it never stopped hurting. They referred him to physical therapy and he continued to be active. One day at baseball practice he was hitting off the tee and had no problem hitting right but the first swing he took as a lefty almost dropped him to the ground. We got back to the doctor who sent him to Dr. Podesta, the best ortho sports doctor around! So after many tests, bone scan checking for a fracture, MRI checking for disc damage, the conclusion thankfully was, joint irritation. So finally 4 months later Mark received his cortisone injection and is home resting in bed. He has been in constant pain for 4 months and he is very happy that it should be better after today. He was given happy pills a couple weeks ago to help with the pain but after the happy juice he was given today for his injection he said the pills don't compare! He had a drunken smile and couldn't remember much of anything except that he felt far away from everyone in the room. He wasn't sure if they were taking to him or each other, he didn't remember getting dressed and he didn't remember getting escorted out by my friend Maria who had also given him an orange juicy juice. We are hopeful he will be up and about soon, back to his normal active lifestyle.
